WhatsApp to soon get email verification feature

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new privacy feature that uses email verification to protect user accounts. The feature is currently in testing for Android beta testers and will provide an additional way to access WhatsApp accounts once the email address is confirmed. The email address will remain private and hidden from contacts. Although details are limited, the feature is expected to be useful in the future. In another update, WhatsApp now allows users to create unnamed groups, automatically assigning them a name based on the group members.
