Xbox users can now repair their controllers at home

Microsoft is now selling replacement parts for Xbox Wireless and Elite Series 2 controllers on its online store, including buttons, Input PCBA boards and Motor Assembly parts. To assist with repairs, the company is linking helpful downloadable guides and instructional videos via YouTube as a guide. However, customers should use DIY parts on products no longer covered by warranties, and only experienced professionals should replace the spare parts. Prices range from $24 for button sets to $60 for complete circuit board and motor. Microsoft has built a reputation for providing spare parts effectively, as it expanded its online store to sell spare parts for different Microsoft Surface devices last summer.
